Discussion with MP Kyle Seeback

Today, the CCRSA, alongside Councillor Mario Russo, had the privilege of discussing critical road safety issues with our MP Kyle Seeback.

Here's what we addressed:

📌 Dangerous Road Conditions:

Our Caledon roads, bordering Brampton and Vaughan, are becoming increasingly unsafe due to heavy truck traffic and insufficient infrastructure.

📌 Illegal Land Use:

We highlighted the alarming transformation of properties and their proximity to residential areas, emphasizing the need for proper land-use regulations and infrastructure.

📌 Truck Driver Regulations & Education:

From lack of proper schooling to inadequate regulations and apprenticeship programs, there’s a significant gap that needs addressing. We also touched on concerns about people entering the trucking industry without proper training.

MP Seeback expressed understanding and pledged to advocate at both the provincial and federal levels. He plans to address a letter to MPP Sylvia Jones and Premier Doug Ford to push for meaningful action.

💡 Together, we can make a difference! We’re committed to advocating at every level of government to ensure these issues are resolved. Let’s continue to stay informed and united as a community.
